Jason McDonald is a genuine born and bred Murchison local who has been fishing the rivers of the Top of the South for over 30 years. He has extensive first-hand experience of the rivers, streams and creeks in the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast regions due to a lifelong passion and dedication to fly fishing and hunting. He knows intimately the river flows, the weather patterns and the seasonal fluctuations that make for real expertise -essential for success in this challenging and exciting fishery.
Jason is a member of the New Zealand Professional Flyfishing Guides Association (NZPFGA). The NZPFGA is the national body representing fishing guides throughout New Zealand. NZPFGA members adhere to the highest standards of angling ethics.
